Broken Window - who pays?

The parents of the child who broke the window is responsible for the repair/replacement of the window! I would have it fixed and send the woman an itemized bill, via registered certified mail with return receipt requested, which means she will have to sign for it giving you proof that she received it. Give her 30 days to make arrangements to pay and then take her to small claims court!
