I believe religious fundamentalism is one of the biggest dangers in the world today. Of course we all know the evils of Islamic fundamentalism but consider the current movement towards Christian fundamentalism. They are working to force their will on the government, the schools and everything in our lives. It wasn't that long ago that the Christian church was burning people at he stake for heresy. The Crusades or holy war against Islam was another of their doings and could very well happen again if extremists get into office.
