Long story but urgent and i need help immediatley?

My moms bf has anger problems and my brother and sis have been telling me that he throws stuff at my mom and calls everyone names, and that he is out of control. I told him that if he was able to do that to a female and little kids then he can do the same to another grown guy(im 19) and he said come on over. I went to confront him on this today and when i got there he charged out of the house and got in my face and was yelling at me and when i asked him what gives him the right to do that to my family?, he told me "I can do whatever i want". he then ripped my hat off my hat and started mocking me so i POKED him in the chest with a stick. after i did that, he called the cops and tried saying i assaulted him and tried pressing charges. the cops got there and the first officer wouldnt listen to a word i said and i said a few cuss words but he then grabbed me by my arm and threw me on the ground and cuffed me. i ended up getting a summons to court and he gets to stay there free and fully able to abuse my family. Is there anything i can do? i have tried contacting social services with no luck whatsoever. also my ticket says its for underage purchase or possession of alcohol, and i did neither of those, i had a beer earlier and it showed up on the breathalizer but i was not possessing or purchasing, so can that even pass??? please help this has been a horrible night and i am so sick of this ****
