My daughter was sectioned?
I have a daughter aged 16years old who has mild learning difficulties. She has also been diagnosed with a severe depression with psychotic symptoms [she also refuses to go to school.] She is also extremely violent and attacks me and her father quite often. She is also verbally abusive and has threatened me with a knife a number of times. And just recently she attacked two of the doctors she sees for her mental health problems. She kicked one of them and then try ed to hit the other one with a chair she then ripped up a letter. A couple of security guards were then called she also started screaming crying and shouting obscenities at everyone in sight including her doctors. again she picked up a chair. The guards then restrained and lifted my daughter up into a other room. While my daughter was in this other room some doctors try ed to get her to take some medication she wouldn't at first and spat it out onto the floor eventually she took the medication.Again she picked up a chair all the chairs had to then be taken out of the room. After a couple of hours she calmed down one of the doctors spoke to her and told her they were looking for a spare bed for her in the psychiatric part of the hospital. Amazingly she never refused to go into hospital I don't know' why that was maybe it was the medication kicking in. I'm so ashamed of her I mean what are people gonna think of her and us she has put my family and me to shame. Why does she have to be so cruel and nasty to us. We are good parents we buy her nice things we give her plenty of love and affection. I mean seriously what is her problem? I hope when this section 4 she is under comes to a end I hope they change it to a section 3 or something and keep her locked up. I think that would be best because she has gone too far she can never get better now and bounce back. And besides she cant take care of herself anyway. And with her track record who in their right mind would want to give her a job. What do you think I should do?
